Nyall AI

Nyall is the AI assistant in Nyask. Just talk to it and it organizes your to-dos, the things you want to remember, and your plans, and helps you carry the day forward. The AI doesn’t “just go do things” — it always works in the order of propose → you confirm → apply.

What Nyall is

Nyall is a companion that reads the context of your Items — tasks, notes, plans — and acts on it. Ask it to “sort out the weekend” and it splits what you say into tasks, notes, and calendar entries; ask “where’s that doc again?” and it finds the related Items. Nyall isn’t just a chatbot — it’s a doer that assembles real actions on your data.

Talk → propose → apply

Changes Nyall makes to your data aren’t applied out of the blue. They’re first shown as a proposed change, and run only after you’ve checked them.

  1. Talk — tell it what you’re thinking or what you need, in natural words.
  2. See the proposal — Nyall assembles a change like “I’ll organize it this way” or “I’ll create this” and shows it. Nothing has changed in your real data yet.
  3. Confirm and apply — if it looks good, approve and it runs right then. One at a time, or all together.
Hard-to-undo actions like deletion are kept out of bulk apply and always ask for an individual confirmation. You can also choose how much it checks with you (confirm every time, just draft a plan, and so on).

Call it from anywhere

Nyall isn’t locked to one screen. Talk to it from a small input bar next to your list, consult it in a side panel while a task’s detail is open, or move to a dedicated space for a longer conversation — it comes along without breaking your train of thought. Ask the moment it occurs to you: that’s how Nyall feels to use.

From outside tools too

Nyall isn’t only inside Nyask. It can connect with outside AI assistants like Claude, so you can ask the AI you already use to “check my Nyask tasks” or “add this for me,” and it reads and writes the same to-dos and notes.

The data Nyall works with starts with Tasks / Items. Take a look at what it organizes, too.
