Focus Mode
Before your attention scatters, carve out time to dive into one thing. Like Pomodoro, it splits focus and breaks so you can settle into the work without strain.
What focus mode is
Focus mode is a timer for working in set blocks of time. You can link it to a specific task to “focus on this task,” or just take the time without picking a task. You switch between focusing, on a break, and paused, and even if you stop partway, that time is recorded.
How to use it
- Pick a task to focus on — start focus mode right from a task’s detail or the main screen. Starting without choosing a task is fine too.
- Focus — while the timer runs, give yourself to the thing in front of you.
- Take a break — when you hit a stopping point, move to a break. The rhythm of focus and rest helps you keep going.
See yourself keeping at it
The time you focus and your daily activity feed into reflections like your streak (days active in a row) and “this week’s pulse.” Seeing “I moved a little forward today” pile up is what nudges the next step. Nyall (AI) reads this flow too, and gives you a quiet word of encouragement.
What you focus on is a Task / Item. Start by handing your to-dos to Nyask.
